Introduction

Today, we’re announcing Blue Drop Labs’ AI practice and our participation in the Mastra Agency Program as one of its five launch partners.

The practice brings together work we’re already doing with clients: finding where AI can help, connecting it to the systems a business uses, and building an experience people can rely on. It sits alongside our design and development practices, with the same senior team guiding the work from the first conversation through delivery.

Our aim is to help your business grow revenue without growing headcount. That could mean doubling revenue with the same team by automating the work that limits how much business you can take on.

For Stacker, we helped scale story intake, supporting 120% year-over-year revenue growth from 2025 to 2026. Our Stacker case study shows how we built the platform behind that growth.

One of Mastra’s five launch partners

On October 8, Mastra introduced its Agency Program, a network of agencies and consultancies that build agents for clients. Blue Drop Labs joins Deerfield Group, Frontleap, Handpicked, and Young Security in the first group of partners.

Mastra says every partner has been vetted by its forward-deployed engineering team. The program gives partners direct access to Mastra’s founders and team, regular partnership and roadmap updates, and a voice in the product’s direction.

For our clients, that gives us a closer working relationship with the people building a framework we use. We can bring implementation questions and feedback from client work directly to the Mastra team, and plan with better visibility into where the framework is going.

What our AI practice helps you do

A useful starting point is often a familiar frustration: someone copies information between systems, prepares the same report every week, or searches through documents to answer a recurring question. We look at the work with your team and identify where automation could make a meaningful difference.

We also look for new possibilities. Your business might have knowledge that is difficult to search, a service that needs too much manual research to offer at scale, or data that could help customers make better decisions.

Our practice covers four connected areas:

  • Strategy and assessment. Identify opportunities, check data access, and define a business case and a focused pilot.
  • Generative AI. Build tools that help people search, summarize, draft, and work with information in context.
  • Agents and workflows. Connect AI to business tools so it can carry out defined steps, with permissions and approval points built into the process.
  • Adoption and improvement. Help your team use the system, evaluate its work, and track quality, completion rates, and operating cost.

Why Mastra fits the way we build

Mastra is a TypeScript framework for building AI agents and applications. It provides tools for connecting models to actions, coordinating workflows, evaluating results, and tracing what happened during a run.

Those capabilities matter once an agent becomes part of everyday work. We need to understand how it reached a result, test changes against representative tasks, and investigate a failed step. Mastra gives us a foundation for that engineering.

Our team brings the rest of the system together: the interface people use, the integrations that give the agent access to information, and the rules for what it can do. We define who approves consequential actions, how exceptions reach a person, and who owns the workflow after launch.

Helping Stacker scale story intake and revenue

Our work with Stacker shows how removing operational limits creates room for revenue growth. We helped the media platform move from spreadsheets and manual handoffs to a customer portal with story submission, production tracking, and analytics.

Automating submission and tracking eliminated approximately 10,000 manual emails over six months. Story production time fell from three weeks to about one week. A later version added AI recommendations based on past story performance, helping brands decide what to create next.

Those changes gave Stacker the capacity to take on more stories and grow the business. That connection between operational capacity and revenue shapes our AI practice: identify what limits growth, build the system to remove that constraint, and measure what changes.

Start with one valuable piece of work

Bring us a process that takes too much time, or a capability you have wanted to offer but could not make practical. We’ll work through the people, data, systems, and decisions involved, then define a first step with a way to measure whether it helps.

You can explore our AI practice for more about the services and how we evaluate opportunities. We’re glad to be part of Mastra’s first group of agency partners, and we’re looking forward to putting that relationship to work for our clients.
